I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Biology/ Pre-Medicine at Azusa Pacific University with a GPA of 3.48. I am highly skilled in tutoring the sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math. I am also able to tutor in scientific Reading, and Writing. I am fluent in Portuguese in reading, writing, and speaking.

Experience

I have spent over three years as a private tutor and counselor for elementary to college students in a residential setting. I have worked with a wide variety of students of all ages and at all levels of education in a wide variety of subjects. I love teaching the sciences in clear and unique ways to help students have a better comprehension of the difficult subject matter. My Medical School Admissions College Test (MCAT) Score was a 499. I am fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Portuguese (I was one class shy of minoring in Portuguese at USU before transferring to APU). I lived in Portugal for two years. I can understand and read most Spanish from my training in Portuguese. Hobbies

Having lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a majority of my life I have developed a love for anything outdoors. When I am not hitting the books and preparing for medical school, you would probably find me out rock climbing, hiking, camping, waterskiing, wakeboarding, skiing, or playing some type of sport. My favorite sports to play are basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, tennis, ultimate Frisbee, and running. Other hobbies that I have are: singing, playing the piano, and reading a good book. I love to embark on adventures and travel to new places. I love discovering new hobbies and exploring new cities, trails, and climbs with my wife Carly.
