Experience
Teaching is something that I have always enjoyed and at which I have always excelled. Although I am able to teach lots of subjects, my particular gift is in teaching students how to study and to discover and enjoy their own learning process. I have taught in classroom settings many times over the years at the university level, first as a graduate student and later as adjunct faculty. I began teaching when I was still a child and found that I could help my younger siblings, cousins, and classmates relax, have fun, and get better grades in subjects that were challenging to them. As a parent, I had a wonderful time supporting my own daughter as she learned to read at a very early age and went on to excel in all her studies. Once I began my professional career, I continued to incorporate teaching into my work. When I later began practicing law, I developed and led a very successful continuing legal education course for lawyers practicing in my area of specialty. Now, designing and leading workshops and providing individualized coaching continue to be important and rewarding aspects of my work.
