I am a scientist, and I have been tutoring mathematics and chemistry courses for five years at three colleges, including the University of Texas-Austin, Austin Community College, and Pikes Peak Community College. I have B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Physics from UT-Austin and I have worked as a researcher in three different labs over two countries. I am continuing my education in pursuit of a Radiology degree. My style of tutoring involves a lot of questions and answers between my student and me. I will push you (or them) to see the answers themselves rather than giving answers. I expect our sessions to be interactive, with students that are prepared to participate in their own learning. I am a loud, happy tutor whose sessions tend also to include laughter, high fives, and pep talks as needed. But enough about me, I cant wait to hear about you or your student.
