Experience
In college, I enjoyed helping my peers after I was done with my own homework and studies. I started providing formal tutoring in my senior year and all of my tutees increased their confidence and academic performance. Now I often provide help with studying and test-taking tips that have worked for me throughout my academic life. I can break down complex problems into smaller, more digestible bits, and help students with talking through the processes involved so their comprehension sticks. Subjects include statistics, precalculus, calculus, economics, business, and ACT and SAT test prep.A graduate of the University of Tulsa, I have a B.S.B.A. and double major in finance and economics. I am now pursuing my career as an actuary. This profession relies very much on critical thinking, computation, and the ability to be analytical which matches elements of my tutoring expertise. I am experienced in mathematics, accounting, finance, and economics. In addition, I am always seeking out new challenges for myself. I have a motto and that is "always be improving." When not pursuing my own career or helping students reach their potential, I enjoy music, snowboarding, and self-improvement as well as playing soccer at the Division 1 level.
